How this site works, and how it makes money
Written plainly, because a site about injury claims that is vague about its own incentives has not earned anything.
What we are
theinjury.ai is operated by Micronetbd Inc. of Hamilton, New Jersey, a technology company that builds software for law firms. We are not a law firm. We are not a lawyer referral service. We are not a legal services plan. Nobody here is a lawyer acting for you.
What we do not do
- We do not take payment from any lawyer or law firm. Not for placement, not per lead, not per click, not a share of any fee.
- We do not list, rank, rate, score, endorse or recommend any lawyer or firm.
- We do not send your information to a law firm. If you build a written summary, it goes to you and you decide what to do with it.
- We do not tell you whether you have a claim, what it is worth, or what your deadline is. Those are legal conclusions and giving them would be practising law without a licence.
What the assistant does
The site runs an automated assistant. It does two jobs and refuses a third.
It explains general rules. How the verbal threshold works, what limited tort means, when the 120-day notice period starts. This is published information about the law and anyone may explain it.
It takes down what happened. If you want, it will ask the same questions a law firm's intake team asks, and organise your answers into a written summary you can keep. Collecting facts is not legal advice, and the summary contains your account of events, not our opinion of them.
It will not reach a conclusion about your case. Ask it whether you have a claim and it will tell you it cannot answer that and why. That is deliberate, it is not a limitation we are working around, and we would rather it be useless in that one respect than wrong in a way that costs you something.
So how does this pay for itself
Micronetbd sells an AI intake agent to law firms, and websites and marketing services to businesses generally. This site runs on our own intake agent. A firm evaluating the product can watch it work on live traffic on a real site rather than sit through a rehearsed demo.
That is the whole model. The product we are selling is sold to law firms for their own websites, where the firm's own lawyers do the qualifying. We are not selling you, and we are not selling access to you.
The advertising model we have not turned on
We may in future offer Pennsylvania law firms a flat monthly advertising fee to appear in a directory on this site: the same fee for every firm, no payment tied to whether you contact anyone, hire anyone, or win anything, no share of any legal fee, and firms displayed in a fixed order you can verify rather than an order we choose.
That is switched off. No firm advertises here today, no firm is listed, and we will not turn it on until an independent legal ethics review has cleared the structure. When it does turn on, this page will say so, every listing will be labelled as paid advertising, and the criteria for appearing will be published in full.
What happens to information you give us
We record which pages are visited and, if you use the assistant, what you type. If you build a written summary we hold it so we can give it back to you. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to any law firm. Full detail is in the privacy policy, including how to ask us to delete it.
Because we are not your lawyer, nothing you tell us is privileged. That is worth understanding before you write out the details of something sensitive. What you say to an actual attorney, even in a first consultation that goes nowhere, is generally protected. What you type here is not.
